Halloween MakeUp Removal Tips, From the L’Oreal MakeUp Set

You’re a kat; you’re a dog; you’re Madea; you’re a serial killer: Hunny, it’s 2016, so you can be whateva you wanna be. But whichever you decide, I know you diva-beings are gonna make it good because it’s the only Halloween 2016 you’re ever gonna get. Know what that means: makeup looks this year are everything! 🙌🙌

Uh huh…yes it does.

I know this because The L’Oreal Make-up set was lit, last Summer, when the people who invented the slay, along with guest star, makeup artist, Sir John, decided this for you. I know this because,Yes, Queen, Sir John is: he who beats Beyonce’s face, himself. I rE…….ALly know this because he along with the L’Oreal Makeup pros Joy Fennel & Tinna Empera created a lookbook of simple to swank, Halloween, makeup looks for makeup lovers of all.

But…[thinks to self, scratches brow ] who is it that teaches you to take this stuff off? Ri….ight, So I got you, Lovelies. After all, who better? I only had to remove four looks in one sitting.

Jaja! Anything for a good slay 😉

Now I promise: some day, I’ll post a full makeup, removal tutorial on Ellalumi.com. But for now, I’ll show you how to remove your Halloween makeup in four easy steps, which only cost you your time and, perhaps…., one to two hand-fulls of your patience.

Step One: Pick your potion, remover that is! Bwahahahahaha 😈😈

I chose Klorane Eye makeup remover. I normally don’t post photos with the products I use because, well, I don’t sell products. I don’t! But I do like Klorane’s remover for my eye makeup. The are other awesome removers as well. Just make sure you choose something soothing and gentle for your skin.

Step Two: Soak one or two baby wipes in the makeup remover of your choice, and place them over your face for a minute or two. Gently press all around, from the middle of your face on out, allowing the fluid to soften the makeup. If you don’t like idea of having your eye, nose and mouth covered, feel free to cut holes into the wipes and shape it to your face- makeing it like a sheet mask, for your comfort. (Honestly, I usually don’t bother making it pretty because I working, and I ain’t got time for that.) After a few minutes wipe your entire face to remove all the makeup that has been broken dowimage

Step Three: Use cotton swaps to gently break down any left over eye makeup. Be careful not to get it the tip into your eye. But use it to remove eyeliner and mascara built up around the eyeline and between your lashes.

Step Four: Cleanse and moisturize as normal. This shouldn’t really be a step. We all know we need to wash the remaining dirt and product residue off of our faces. Follow up with your normal moisturizing routine. If the makeup applied your face was a harsh paint or of the special effects variety, then your may want to moisturize with a product that stimulates cellular repair.
